sooo…. what you are telling me is that if I play basketball in the WNBA as a member of the LGBT community, I’m “black," and I go across seas to RUSSIA to play more ball to make more money, then get arrested for cannabis oil in the airport on the way home in a country where cannabis is illegal (regardless of medical need) and get detained, (...takes breath) I can still get out of prison after a couple months and get a FREE plush ride home and medical check courtesy of our president. Ooh and then when I get home, there's a fucking hashtag devoted to me, I get invited to the Superbowl 2023, 2023 NAACP Image Awards to make a speech, get voted by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people of 2023, be invited to the MET Gala and receive probably a slew of other promotions and sponsors? Holy Fuck Count me in!

Tickets sitting at a hefty $50,000 each, or get a table starting at $300,000, only around 600-700 special guests invite-only by Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour, and a six month waiting list... -_- I just feel that there should be some type of standard for the invitees, I thought there was one. I don’t know, stand out fashionably all year in whatever field you work in. Being fashionable takes creativity and passion for the craft and I respect the idea to showcase this in a exciting thematic annual event, even though it comes with its criticisms. But Opportunistic much, Griner family? She wears a basketball uniform most often and what does wifey do in the fashion world? Crickets..... LET’S BE HONEST Y’ALL LOOKED OUT OF PLACE. If you two were anyone else, they would have ripped you apart for not trying harder, you have all of this “new” money, get a better fit. IT'S THE MET GALA, AND YOU GOT AN INVITE, COME ON. Regarding respect in other countries uncommon to my own, I may not believe in every one of their laws but I damn sure would not disrespect any country by ignorantly committing crimes and blaming lack of knowledge. If you are visiting another country uncommon to what you are used to, do a little research and learn something before visiting. The UK and India, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan and the Caribbean all have driving laws that state to drive on the left side of the road. Am I going to visit any of these places and drive on the right side because in my country we drive that way and it is legal, disobeying the country's law? Even if I made this mistake and got caught, I would be prepared to deal with the consequences, because that's how life works and I am an adult. She knew that shit was dumb, and wrong.

We still have Paul Whelan in Russia being detained for no fucking reason. I think of him and his family often and hope they know we also think the move made by our country was fucking stupid. I think that I am honestly just tired of seeing their faces everywhere, being praised for nothing really. Griner better dunk every time, never miss a shot and take the chip, go back to the Olympics and win more gold because I am very confused as to why she could not just serve her time for fucking up. It was so dire to get her home and we made a choice that spoke volumes. I understand that it is unsafe and you could die in Russia due to practically anything, but, THAT'S WHY YO DUMB ASS DOES NOT GO TO RUSSIA WHEN YOU GOT A GOOD JOB IN AMERICA TO PLAY BASKETBALL, SAME SHIT YOU DOING HERE. I participate in various cannabinoid activities for purposes including medicinal and I also travel quite frequently. I have never carried anything with me on any airplane or across seas and would know if anything is with me is in my bag. What is she just drippin in vape pens, she can't keep track? Let me make the argument that everyone is different and they may need their cannabis daily and cannot take breaks from it like myself. There are a shitload of other options.
Plan your trip out accordingly if you need your medicine. You can go the all natural route, there are melatonin gummies, and lavender teas, CBD infused options. If it is legal in parts of the area you are traveling, but not necessarily wherever you land, look up local providers adjacent to your living quarters for your stay, to purchase if able. Contact a local doctor in the country to make visits to have scheduled appointments and recorded documentation of need for the herb. Britney had employment in Russia as a basketball player, so it would have been smart to cover that ass by finding some type of doctor or herbalist there if she was regularly going to the country. Griner could have had her doctor contact her coach in the US or the coach or organization in Russia in which she was playing to ask about this type of medicine beforehand, to cover her ass.
But nope, she was sneaky like many people and shoved it in her bag anyway, probably been doing it for a while, kept it a secret then claimed it was medicinal when brought to light.
I agree that her race, her identity and the drug (marajuana) did not help her case especially being in such an insane country with an insane leader. But mistakenly having flower/oil/product on you doesn’t happen, when traveling overseas, I am just saying from experience. You know what you have and when you have it, especially when traveling… to FUCKING RUSSIA my dude. NO EXCUSE THERE! DO BETTER, BE BETTER and TAKE THE L DAMN!! NO ONE TAKES THE L NOWADAYS, JUST EXCUSES!
Everyone please keep Paul Whelan in your minds and hearts. I am sure if he is allowed any media it isn’t the most pleasant sight to keep seeing these two on television all the time and getting praised while he is wrongfully accused and behind bars. UNJUST and UNFAIR!!
